Knight Inlet

Glendale Cove

Knight Inlet, also known at or Tsawatti or Tswawadwi, is the largest of the major inlets in the southern part of the Coast of mainland British Columbia.
Travelling by boat to Glendale Cove in Knight Inlet, you will get the opportunity to observe and photograph the bears at relatively close range from the safety of the boat. Although there are other spots where we see grizzly bears on a regular basis, Glendale Cove is unique in the fact that the bears are somewhat habituated to people, allowing you to photograph them as they go about their day-to-day business.
Be prepared for a long day on the water. The boat ride to Glendale Cove is two hours each way, longer if the weather is rough.
